Users of the Google search engine have recently been busy reporting glitches.
Not only the search engine, other Google services such as Gmail, Google Maps, and Google Pictures reportedly experienced similar problems.
As reported by The Guardian, Google apparently experienced a massive disruption globally on Tuesday, August 9, 2022.
Google is known to be the most popular search engine in the world. Many services are loved by users, one of which is YouTube.
In Indonesia, access to the Google search engine began to experience problems since 08.00 WIB.
Network intelligence firm ThousandEyes Inc reported that the Google outage affected at least 1,338 servers globally.
More than 40 countries were affected, including the United States, Australia, South Africa, Kenya, Israel, parts of South America, Europe and Asia, including China and Japan.
Users trying to use the search engine encounter an error that says "502" or "500".
"The server encountered a temporary error and was unable to complete your request," the crash page reads.
As a result, a number of users flocked to complain about Google experiencing this disorder to Twitter.
Search engines such as Bing and DuckDuckGo have also become an alternative choice, and are now flooded with users to surf the internet.***
