How to Overcome Xiaomi Download Pending or Unable to Download on the Play Store – For those of you who have just bought a smartphone from Xiaomi, you will definitely experience the Play Store, there is no solution here, after that you experience Download pending or an Error message: Can't download app (error retrieving information form server [DF-XXX-XX]) is more or less like that.
I'm sure all users will experience this, including me, and the way to deal with it is quite easy.
There are 2 different tutorials, the first is how to solve the pending download and the second can't download with the Error message Can't download app
Tutorials :
A. Overcoming Download Pending / loading continuously
- Check on the homescreen, look for the Tools folder > open the Download application
- Click the 3 dots at the top right > Settings > click Download size limit > change to Unlimited
- Restart the smartphone, and now try to download.
For Xiaomi smartphones that don't find the Download app, you can try this way
- Check on the homescreen of the application called Security > Open
- Then click Data usage > Restrict data usage
- In the Installed section, make sure everything is green checked, including the Google Play Store
- Now in the System section look for the Download app if the cross (red) click on the icon it turns green

B. Overcome Xiaomi can't download with error message: Can't download app
First clear Google Play data
- Go to Settings > scroll down click Installed apps > click on Downloaded on the menu above > scroll down to find Google Play Store then click > now click here just click Clear Data > Force Stop
Now to stage two - Go back to Settings > Click Other accounts > Google > select the email if more than one logout all > click the 3 dots below then Remove account (Remove here does not mean delete the account, but it can be called logout)
